Hello. I have lived in Louisville since 1992 and have witnessed many changes and much growth. I reviewed the Draft PROS and have suggestion that I think would improve the value of living in this community for many residents. The health benefits of Community Gardens has been documented in cities across the US. I think this would be a wonderful opportunity for the many Louisville residents who live in apartments, condos, and townhomes and do not have a place to garden. It would be great to create an inclusive space with opportunities for growing healthy foods.

Very well done. It is a comprehensive guide for the future of Louisville. Over time, it is a guide that will accommodate discussion and and allow everyone the opportunity to express their views and desires. Again, job well done.

Congratulations on creating such comprehensive Parks, Recreation, and Open Space plans for Louisville! We are new to the community and own a dog. It's very clear from all we've read and all we've seen that Louisville requires dogs on leashes except in one of the two dog parks. And that's a-ok by us, but we live east of Harper Lake and the closest dog park is west of Harper Lake, yet the trail around Harper Lake is signed "No Dogs." What are Lake-to-Lake trail users to do when they get to Harper Lake without a viable dog-friendly (leashed, of course) alternative?

I printed this out and read both documents. The font is to small, and makes reading the print version difficult. Please increase font size, so print version becomes easier to read.
TSP, 4.1 prioritization: just wondering if the 1 to 5 year action items for Wayfinding, Safety and other minor improvements might be a little bit long, because then there’s only 5years left to take on all the big stuff?

I am surprised that I cannot find anywhere in the PROS Trail System Plan any mention of the word dog. The city of Louisville needs to address the lack of trails that are accessible for dogs to be off leash with appropriate guidelines and rules. It seems that accommodating e-bikes is a bigger priority than accommodating dog owners. Yet there are many more dog owners than e-bike riders in Louisville. The North Open Space west of the Powerline Trail is a perfect area to implement such a plan as well as the trails outside of Davidson Mesa. The city of Boulder has done a wonderful job accommodating dog owners with off leash open space trails. Why can't Louisville do the same?

Appendix D: Possible Funding Sources is just just a wish and hope. It talks about grants. Every county in Colorado is going to try and get the same grants. Where is your plan to bring new businesses into Louisville? Where is your plan to create tax revenue? The Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10 years thus PROS does not have news ideas about funding nor their wish list.
