The City of Louisville is drafting a dark-sky lighting ordinance to regulate outdoor lighting. Dark sky lighting increases access to the night sky, improves the health and safety of humans and wildlife, and reduces energy usage.

A draft of the ordinance for public review will be posted on this webpage.
