Airport Noise Mitigation

Aviation consultants ABCx2 will share their final recommendations for noise mitigation with Louisville City Council at an upcoming meeting. A date has not yet been confirmed.

Communities surrounding the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport have been experiencing an increase in overflights and aircraft noise. The City of Louisville and Town of Superior have partnered to hire aviation consultants from ABCx2 to help assess the existing conditions and help identify operational strategies to reduce impacts for residents.

In support of this effort, we’re asking for your input about airport and aircraft impacts affecting your community. We’re also asking for input concerning strategies that may help reduce those impacts. Your input is critical to the success of this project and we appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback.
